Perhaps over 30% of all antenna papers submitted to the Transactions in the past twelve months have used return loss incorrectly. This misuse of the term is occurring in other allied disciplines as well. For passive structures, return loss is a positive quantity and has the opposite sign of reflection coefficient expressed in dB. Read the full story. Submission of Final Manuscripts Via ScholarOneMay 6, 2009. The final submission of accepted manuscripts is now via ScholarOne Manuscript (previously called Manuscript Central). From now on authors should submit their final material via ScholarOne Manuscript. The process is described in the decision email when a paper is accepted. Migration to TAP Manuscript Central v4 – Monday September 29, 2008September 11, 2008. As foreshadowed at the reviewers meeting in San Diego held in July 2008, the IEEE Transactions on Antennas & Propagation manuscript management system, Manuscript Central (MC), is to be upgraded from v1.8 to v4.1. The Editor-in-Chief gave a status report on the Transactions at the Reviewers Lunch held at the AP-S Symposium in Hawaii. The presentation is available as a download PDF "TAP Review Presentation June 2007" (355 KB) Migration to TAP Manuscript Central v4.1July 24, 2008. The planned migration of TAP Manuscript Central from v1.8 to v4.1 should commence in the last quarter of 2008. The front page of the new version of Manuscript Central is shown in this PDF (400 Kb).
