1 For 2026 awards, this would apply to any member of these committees as of Dec. 31, 2025. New Adcom and Committee Members take their places Jan 1, 2026. In the event a committee member has written a letter or nomination for a nominee prior to taking office, they will be recused from discussion and voting on any decisions that include that nominee. If a nomination is being “continued” from another year, and letters were written by members prior to taking office, they can be used in the nomination, and the letter writer will be recused.
